Iris Blanc Director of the Virtual Enterprise Center, in New York City shares her expertise with educators from California's Central Coast during a one-day workshop in Santa Barbara. Representatives from high schools, community colleges, and social service agencies started their summer vacation by attending this exciting event.

A Virtual Enterprise (VE) is a school-site simulated business. The VE offers students the opportunity to experience all facets of operating a business and being an employee. A VE provides an excellent work-based learning opportunity for students without having to leave their school site.
